Category Manager

Full-Time | Product Management | Location Olathe, KS

SUMMARY

As Category Manager, you will translate TVH's commercial priorities into a global product strategy for remanufactured parts. Rooted in market research and customer insights, you will collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Product Development, and global leadership to turn high-level vision into actionable growth.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute global growth strategies for the remanufactured parts portfolio, balancing market trends, competitive positioning, and ROI.
  • Commercial Execution: Define clear roadmaps, coordinate cross-departmental execution, and regularly align progress with the Steering Committee and executive leadership.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor category health, including margins, turnover, and stock levels, to identify improvement opportunities and drive profitability.
  • Vendor Management: Centralize vendor relationships to maximize volume leverage and give procurement and product teams stronger negotiating power.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong global alignment across branches and departments, serving as a key liaison for Sales, Customer Experience, and Marketing.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously track industry trends, competitor moves, and customer needs, sharing actionable insights across the business.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a technical field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in product or project management.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into both high-level strategies and step-by-step operational plans.
