Category Manager - On-Demand Delivery (ODD) is responsible for providing fact-based, insight-led, and actionable category growth solutions tailored to the fast-evolving quick-commerce and instant-needs landscape. This role drives category leadership across third-party delivery platforms and rapid-delivery operators by delivering best-in-class recommendations in digital shelf optimization, platform-specific assortment, algorithmic visibility, and digital impulse merchandising. By unlocking high-velocity conversion and trip-mission opportunities, the Category Manager future-proofs confectionery & salty growth across on-demand channels. The successful associate brings strong strategic agility, a relentless drive for results, cross-functional collaborative leadership, and the ability to thrive amidst the high ambiguity and speed of emerging retail ecosystems.
What are we looking for?Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in CPG category and/or sales
- Business analytics experience leveraging multiple data resources (IRI or Nielsen; Scan, Panel, Spectra, etc.)
- Highly proficient in MS Office and other technical applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Strong strategic planning, comfort with ambiguity, organizational agility, and self-starter
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge and experience within Digital Commerce
- Advanced analytical capability and experience
- Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, retail, digital commerce, or high-growth consumer brands.
What would be your key responsibilities?Core Responsibilities:- Create and plan category leadership solutions that deliver mutual and profitable sales growth for ODD partners and Mars Snacking:
- Utilize broad range of data sources (syndicated data, ODD POS, market analysis, tools, technology, etc.) to analyze & provide actionable insights into instant delivery consumption occasions, app substitution behaviors and basket affinity trends across the confectionery & salty categories.
- Conduct regular digital shelf diagnostics across delivery apps. Provide strategic recommendations on high-velocity assortment, digital space-to-sales alignment, category taxonomy, digital on-shelf availability, and optimal app placement.
- Identify and implement specific research and Test & Learn opportunities, analyze results, and create Insight based/actionable stories and present to ODD partners
- Ad Hoc and Ongoing Data Management, Reporting and Presentation Building
- Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with key delivery platform category merchants. Secure a consistent "seat at the table" for strategic discussions and decisions regarding our categories.
- Partner seamlessly across internal Mars Wrigley teams-including Sales and Category Account leads (DCOM, OTG, SGC, Grocery, etc.), Digital Merchandising, Retail Media, Human Intelligence, etc., to ensure delivery-channel strategies align with broader Mars Snacking objectives

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the position and employee's work schedule). Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents, and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also receive the following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee's work schedule): 120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year, and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.
