What You Will Do- JOB SUMMARY
Lead procurement strategy and execution for A&P in the Americas, delivering measurable value through category strategy, sourcing, supplier performance management and cross-functional project delivery. Acts as the point of contact for A&P procurement activities in the USA, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements while driving alignment to indirect strategic initiatives.
Accountable for converting A&P spend into measurable, sustainable P&L impact whilst managing delivery risk and stakeholder complexity, ensuring category strategies deliver value creation and business objectives.
- WHAT YOU WILL DO
Principal Accountabilities
Own category strategy and implementation for A&P across the Americas region, with accountability for approximately £80m annual spend. Own and deliver category plans, including strategic sourcing and contract negotiation activities (pricing, terms, service levels) to ensure delivery of category objectives and value creation, with value reflected within business plans and P&L. Build and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders and external service providers to influence at a strategic level and ensure business requirements are effectively met. Ensure contract administration and supplier performance management activities are in place and operating effectively. Lead supplier performance and relationship management activities across the A&P category. Accountable for ensuring compliance with approved procurement policies, governance requirements and buying channels. Manage supplier risk, sustainability and compliance requirements within agreed frameworks and organisational standards. Manage the A&P opportunity pipeline in alignment with regional leaders and global stakeholders, ensuring visibility, prioritisation and delivery confidence against plan. Work closely with wider indirect procurement teams and global A&P teams to implement global category strategies and procurement solutions wherever possible.
Critical Decisions
Define and manage A&P category strategy, sourcing approaches and target outcomes in alignment with Americas and Global objectives. Determine the most appropriate sourcing approach for A&P requirements, including RFQ, RFP, direct award and framework agreement activity. Lead contract negotiations and determine contract terms, commercial positions and payment terms. Select, award and exit suppliers. Manage risk, reporting and escalations relating to supplier, commercial and operational matters. Support end-to-end contract lifecycle management, including dispute management and delivery of maximum commercial value. Set and approve budgets, cost-saving targets and value creation initiatives. Determine commercial trade-offs where cost, risk and speed considerations conflict, escalating material issues where appropriate.

Qualifications- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Essential
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
- Experience in category management, sourcing and supplier management.
- Strong procurement and commercial negotiation capability.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and supplier performance.
- Knowledge of procurement governance, compliance and risk management.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience managing multiple sourcing initiatives and delivering value creation outcomes
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CIPS qualification or equivalent.
- Experience within A&P and indirect procurement categories.
- Experience operating in regional or global procurement environments.
- Experience supporting category strategy implementation across multiple markets.
- Knowledge of procurement systems and analytics tools.

Annual Base Salary Range: $119325.00 - $159100.00
Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus or incentive compensation.
