What You Will Be DoingDevelops a global sourcing strategy for commodities (categories.) Defines project scope and facilitates execution, identifying savings opportunities in order to provide differentiating value. Works with Business Area, Business Unit or Enterprise-wide, cross-functional teams to analyze supply base risks & opportunities, identify new sources of supply and meet business requirements. Negotiates and manages contracts and relationships with suppliers to drive innovative strategies that enhance performance. Implements policies and metrics to ensure that savings goals are realized and performance requirements are achieved. Acts as the main focal point for all matters pertaining to the given category. Responsible for quality and performance of supplier products. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor9s degree
• Supply Chain, Supply Chain Integration, or Logistics experience
• Experience with subcontract cost, quality, schedule and/or technical program performance
Desired Skills• Ability to lead in a fast-paced team with a proven ability to focus on team members
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills to build organizational talent, and foster an environment focused on positive employee engagement and individual career development
• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement and ability to implement change and drive efficiency
• Attract, develop, and retain subcontract management talent to improve the overall group performance
• Background and knowledge of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 procurements
• Demonstrated negotiations experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
• Background and knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
• Experience with delivery execution
• Strong SAP knowledge/background and experience
• Must be able to travel, as required
• Experience in mitigating risk and driving a poor performing suppliers to improvement
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
