Full Job Description
In your new role as a CAT District Sales Manager - West & Midwest you will be responsible for the implementation of the overall sales, marketing plans and assigned accounts including branch operations within our West and Midwest territories. YOUR IMPACT • Maintain complete Business Planning Document for account (Sales function). • Provide input that helps direct market development, sales promotion, distribution, and pricing policies which are integral to successful market penetration (Marketing function). • Analyze and report market trends, potentials, and sales forecasts. • Recommend changes, additions, improvements, or deletions for assigned products in line with JLG's product life cycle management. • Work withJLGsales personnel in further developing existing and newCat Dealers. • Responsible for the training ofCat Dealersales and office personnel on JLG products. • Maintain effective working relationships with allCat Dealer principals to assure commitment and aggressive pursuit of sales for JLG products. • Continually provide and document competitive activity and information. • Achieve sales targets for assigned accounts. • Maintain ongoing communication with Equipment Services, Access Financial Services, and Customer Support Group. • Develop information for JLG Management needed for any required report. • Prepare other reports as required on a timely basis and document minutes of all important meeting with distributors assigned. *Candidate should be located near a major airline hub (significant air travel required) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in related field • 6-plus years related experience • Up to 75% travel WORKING CONDITIONS The following represents general working conditions for this role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances. • This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments. • In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings. • Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels. • Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed. • Reasonable accommodations will be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities to support performance across both office and field responsibilities. Pay Range: $103,300.00 - $177,700.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
