POSITION SUMMARY: The Cased Hole Completion Manager ("CCM") is primarily responsible for non-manual work directly related to the leadership and management of completion operations performed by wireline crews, and regularly directs the work of and independently supervises two or more full-time employees in such operations, with particular weight given to the CCM's suggestions and recommendations regarding hiring, firing, and other changes in employment status. Primary duties also include using discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance. The CMM's primary responsibilities and duties are directly related to the management and general business operations of the company.
Be prepared in the regular course of employment to make an interstate/intrastate journeys in heavy duty commercial motor vehicles that are subject to regulation by the U.S. Department of Transportation, and satisfy all requirements for the operation of such vehicles. Proficiencies and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Provide knowledge, assistance, and oversight to personnel in the shop and at operational job sites
• Promote and implement safety and HSE awareness and environmental consciousness, and comply with and ensure that subordinates comply with all applicable procedures and regulations
• Wear designated PPE as required in the shop or field locations
• Train Operators in all facets of their jobs, i.e. pre-job calculations at the job site, rigging up and down of surface and down-hole logging and perforating equipment
• Control, maintain, and operate sophisticated surface and down-hole well logging and perforating equipment at job sites according to company standards
• Observe and provide supervisory assistance to subordinate personnel if needed during preparation and logging tool calibrations
• Obtain service work information, and analyze and use information to perform specific well logging operations
• Knowledge of depth control, cables, cable heads and surface logging systems, and proficiency using all testing and metering equipment, including Blasters, Megger and Survey
• Operate surface system components for use during logging
• Strong customer communication and relations skills required for pre-job and on-the-job progress
• Ensure pre/post job vehicle/truck/crane equipment inspections have been completed.
• Train and develop skills of Operators and Trainees
• Proficient in knowledge of all Horizontal Operations, stage work, pressure operations, mechanical and explosive services
• Provide skill and knowledge to improve of Service Quality
• Prepare and ensure proper completion and maintenance of paperwork for DOT logs, Vehicle Inspections Reports, HazMat Transport, and other paperwork required for legal compliance and/or according to company policies
• Basic understanding of the English language including reading, comprehension, and writing skills required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
• Must and have a valid commercial DOT CDL Class A driver's license with a current HazMat Endorsement
• Minimum one (1) year related wireline experience in operations and maintenance of equipment and successfully completed Pressure Control Training
• Must be Certified in Crane Operations
• Must have working knowledge of all company well logging tools and perforating equipment to effectively supervise other personnel in the performance of their duties
• Supervise operations and maintenance of depth and cable tension measuring equipment. Cable head; rebuild and validate mechanical/electrical integrity
• Oversee load out of jobs and verify the presence of equipment for a job before leaving the shop
• Must be able to manage the transportation of equipment and materials in a safe and timely manner to and from job sites and other locations as needed
• Math skills and the ability to accurately perform calculations needed for wireline services are required to perform the functions of this position
• Must have basic understanding of the English language with the ability to reading and writing skills, must be able to comprehend and interpret complicated oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information to others
• Proficiency in using a computer and knowledge of software and hardware used in wireline services
• Understand, comply with, and ensure subordinates comply with OSHA and HSE policies and guidelines, and DOT and ATF Explosive Safety regulations.
• Ability to think quickly and apply problem solving skills to situations as they come up in the field
• Ability to analyze conditions, data, and information, to use independent judgment and discretion in formulating conclusions and making choices between two or more courses of action so that personnel can successfully and safely complete operations
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a positive team environment
• Ability to provide sound leadership and management to wireline team members, effectively motivating subordinate personnel to provide efficient, safe, and quality services
• Ability to solve problems and analyze numerous variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats

• Must be willing to travel with overnight stays required
• Ability to oversee, manage, and supervise multiple employees and tasks, while staying focused on the objectives of the job, solving problems that may arise, complying and ensuring others comply with all company policies and procedures and applicable laws, and successfully and safely completing operations
