Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required upon start.
• Registration required as either RCIS, RTR VI, RTR CV, or RTR CI; or a graduate of an accredited nursing school with sufficient experience.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia required if not registered in one of the listed certifications.
• Minimum of one year experience in interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab; or equivalent nursing experience in a critical care setting.
• Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent education in Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic care with a holistic focus, incorporating patient differences.
• Conduct psychosocial and physiologic assessments, adapting to changing patient data.
• Tailor care practices to individual patient needs, including cultural, ethical, and spiritual considerations.
• Participate in planning routine transitional health care needs, such as treatment options.
• Ensure efficient care delivery by prioritizing tasks and resolving issues promptly.
