Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease/Sleep Medicine required
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Cardiology
Experience in Nuclear, CT, Vascular (RPVI), procedural, or research highly valued
Completion of an approved Cardiology residency training program
Active New York State Medical Practitioner License
Current DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing
Experience with ECG, Echo, and Stress Testing
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients through conversations, interviews, and observations
Administer tests or request lab work; analyze patient data and results
Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders
Collaborate with other medical staff to determine treatment
Set patient goals and discuss treatment plans
Establish timelines and medical needs for patients
Prescribe medications and monitor patient intake
Document patient records and progress
Counsel patients and provide emotional support
Educate patients and their families about treatment and goals

Job Summary: This is an outpatient position, but there is an additional opportunity within the group for a Cardiologist/Sleep Medicine to provide consultations for other Divisions in Essen.

Requirements
Responsibilities include:
Evaluate patient through conversations, interviews, and observations

Collaborate with patient's physicians and other medical staff to determine treatment
Set patient's goals and discuss treatment plans
Establish timelines, tasks, and medical needs of patient
Analyze the best medications or therapy to help patient reach goal
Prescribe medications and monitor patient intake
Document patient records and progress, including symptoms, medications, and treatments
Counsel patient and listen to their reactions to treatment
Provide patient with emotional tools and methods for recovery
Educate patient, patient's family, significant others, and relevant parties of patient's progress, treatment, and future goals
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease/Sleep Medicine required

Active License

Salary: $400,000.00-$600,000.00
