Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease required
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Cardiology
Experience in Nuclear, CT, Vascular (RPVI), procedural, or research highly valued
Completion of an approved Cardiology residency training program
Active New York State Medical Practitioner License
Current DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing
Experience with ECG, Echo, Stress Testing
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients through conversations, interviews, and observations
Administer tests or request lab work; analyze patient data and results
Diagnose patients with psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders
Collaborate with other medical staff to determine treatment plans
Set patient goals and discuss treatment strategies
Establish timelines and medical needs for patients
Prescribe medications and monitor patient intake
Document patient records and progress, including symptoms and treatments
Counsel patients and provide emotional support
Educate patients and their families about treatment and future goals
