Overview: Advanced Practice Provider Cardiac Inpatient Medical Nights Piedmont Rockdale Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the team at our clinic location at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital located in Conyers, GA. This is a full-time position working nights with weekends.
Responsibilities: In this position you will :- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patients record
- Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries
- Prepare patient workups
- Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered
- Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.

Qualifications:Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing Required and
- Masters degree in Nursing Required or
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board Required
Licenses and Certifications: - ACLS Upon Hire Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
- PA - Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. Updated NCCPA certification for PAs. Upon Hire Required or
- ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP) in the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required
Minimum Qualifications: Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
