Graduation from an accredited nursing program or a Physician Assistant program with required Georgia licenses.
Master's degree in Nursing for Nurse Practitioner candidates.
Current ACLS and BCLS certifications upon hire.
Valid Physician Assistant license in Georgia with updated NCCPA certification or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia.
Experience in Cardiology or acute care settings preferred.
Responsibilities

Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider - Acute Care Services - Weekends - Piedmont Fayette
Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Acute Care Services team at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital located in Fayetteville GA. This is a full-time weekend position.
Responsibilities
In this position you will:
Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting
Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient's record
Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries
Prepare patient workups
Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.

Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing Required and
