Current BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association
Graduate of an accredited Nursing, Radiology, or Cardiovascular Program
Minimum of five years in Cardiac Cath Lab experience
Two years in a Leadership/Management role preferred
Strong clinical knowledge and skills
Responsibilities
Assist in organizing and scheduling for the cardiac cath lab
Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the cath lab
Communicate with Cardiologists regarding patient care
Develop and participate in performance improvement measures
Assist in planning and managing departmental budget
Ensure financial accountability within the department
Coordinate educational classes for staff competency requirements

What you will do:
Assist in the organization and scheduling needs of the cardiac cath lab. Oversees the day-to-day clinical aspects related to the cath lab.
Communicate with Cardiologists as needed about patient care. Participates in and develops performance improvement measures.
Assist in the planning of departmental budget. Responsible for financial accountability within the department.
Coordinates educational classes to meet the annual competency requirements of the staff.
What you will need:
Licensure /Certification/ Registration: RN (Registered Nurse), RT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required. Current BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association is required.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, Radiology Program or Cardiovascular Program required.
Experience: Minimum of five years in Cardiac Cath Lab required, with two years in a Leadership/Management role preferred. Excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
