Cardiac Cath Lab Coordinator

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia Nursing License required
• Minimum of four years recent experience in interventional cardiac cath lab or critical care
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• Experience with vascular and coronary angiography essential
• Strong knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation needed
• Must be available for emergent coronary interventional call with a 30-minute response time
• Preferred: Two years experience in interventional cardiac cath lab and prior management experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical practice and patient care delivery in assigned units
• Maintain 24-hour accountability for operations and resource management
• Implement policies, procedures, and standards in the cath lab
• Manage human, fiscal, and material resources effectively
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patients in invasive cardiac services
• Participate in STEMI call with the emergency response team as needed
