Position Description:

CGI is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Capture Manager - ERP / SLED to support the growth of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions across the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market. The Capture Manager will serve as the "quarterback" of strategic sales pursuits, coordinating business development, solution engineering, delivery, proposal, pricing, partners, and executive leadership. This role will develop and execute capture strategies from early opportunity qualification and pre-RFP positioning through proposal, oral presentations, negotiations, and contract award.

Location & Work Model This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week onsite from an appropriate CGI U.S. office. Travel may be required based on client and pursuit needs.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead strategic ERP/SLED pursuits from early qualification and pre-RFP positioning through contract award.
• Develop and execute capture plans, win strategies, win themes, competitive positioning, and value propositions.
• Understand client priorities, business challenges, procurement strategies, budgets, technology environments, and modernization objectives.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to evaluate opportunities, competitors, incumbents, and CGI differentiators.
• Identify key client decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders and develop effective engagement strategies.
• Lead cross-functional pursuit teams across business development, solution engineering, ERP SMEs, delivery, proposal, pricing, partners, and leadership.
• Drive capture activities, pursuit milestones, leadership reviews, and go/no-go decisions.
• Partner with solution, proposal, and pricing teams to develop compelling and competitive responses to client requirements.
• Support proposal development, including win themes, executive summaries, solution narratives, and differentiators.
• Lead preparation for oral presentations, solution demonstrations, and executive reviews.
• Support proposal clarifications, negotiations, and best and final offers through contract award.
• Maintain pursuit schedules, risks, competitive intelligence, and executive updates.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
• 7-10+ years of experience in capture management, business development, proposal management, technology, or consulting services.
• Experience supporting or leading State, Local, and/or Education (SLED) pursuits.
• Experience with ERP, SaaS, enterprise applications, cloud modernization, systems integration, or digital transformation solutions.
• Knowledge of ERP platforms such as CGI Advantage, Oracle, SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft, or comparable solutions is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement, including RFIs, RFPs, competitive evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Experience developing capture strategies, win themes, competitive assessments, and proposal positioning.
• Strong proposal development, presentation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional pursuit teams and effectively engage senior and executive-level stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple complex pursuits and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%-50% based on business needs.
