Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is looking for a contribution-motivated individual for an experienced Capital Project Manager role on our Operations Services team who will lead multi-discipline project teams to implement large improvement projects in our industrial fertilizer and methanol manufacturing facilities. These projects range in size and complexity and include asset replacements, safety/stewardship initiatives, and debottlenecking or growth projects.

The Operations Services team is primarily located in Wichita, KS and supports multiple projects at KAES sites. This role will be based in Wichita and is eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do

  • Lead or support capital improvement projects ranging from $1M to several hundred million dollars in total installed cost in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner to improve unit and plant operations (size and complexity dependent on experience)
  • Manage projects across the full project lifecycle, including multi-year projects (typically 4-5 years) from concept development through commissioning and startup
  • Facilitate cross-discipline teams with plant personnel, business development, executive leadership, and internal and external partners to define objectives, develop scope, and implement execution plans
  • Guide the integrated project team through disciplined front-end loading, funding alignment, and project execution to deliver on project objectives
  • Steward cost, schedule, and quality while applying economic thinking and Koch's Decision-Making Framework
  • Communicate effectively, identify opportunities for value creation, and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage multiple projects in various stages of the project lifecycle
  • Support knowledge sharing and training within the Operations Services team to enhance team capabilities


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of experience supporting or leading capital projects in an industrial, energy, chemicals, or related environment


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Experience managing multiple medium- to large-scale capital projects
  • 15+ years of experience managing or supporting large capital projects, including projects exceeding $100M in total installed cost
  • Experience serving as a project manager, project engineer, or key supporting resource on major capital projects
