Job Description & SummaryThe Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services team ("CMAAS") at PwC is a team committed to supporting clients through moments of exceptional change by providing accounting advisory services. These services include accounting advice to our clients through acquisitions and divestitures, accounting change, restructuring and capital transactions, such as IPOs, and digital transformation projects.

Within CMAAS, the Prospectus Centre of Excellence team supports the successful execution of complex financing transactions by delivering high-quality, consistent prospectus-related services. Joining the Prospectus Centre of Excellence offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technical accounting, capital markets, and operational transformation. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of complex financing transactions while helping shape how a national capability is built and scaled.
The OpportunityYou'll play a key role in overseeing prospectus engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping to build scalable processes that enhance quality, efficiency, and client experience. This role provides strong visibility, meaningful leadership opportunities, and a platform to deepen your regulatory and capital markets expertise while contributing to initiatives that drive long-term quality and efficiency. - Overseeing the preparation and execution of prospectus-related deliverables across a range of financing transactions
- Managing and reviewing prospectus documents, including performing first-level reviews and coordinating feedback from internal and external reviewers
- Developing a strong understanding of Canadian and US securities regulatory requirements and proactively advising engagement teams and clients
- Coordinating with audit teams, capital markets specialists, clients, and external legal counsel to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of standardized processes, tools, and training materials
- Coaching and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Contributing to the ongoing build-out and evolution of the Prospectus Centre of Excellence, including innovation initiatives that enhance delivery and efficiency
What You'll Bring: Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here's what we look for:
- Experience managing teams within financial accounting and reporting, capital markets, transactions or public company audit environments
- Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent reciprocal/recognized designation
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and ASPE
- The ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- A passion for leading teams, navigating regulatory complexity, and contributing to the evolution of a growing national capability
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong technical expertise with leadership capability and a collaborative mindset
- Flexibility to support client timelines, including peak periods where additional hours may be required

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
