C5ISRT and Cloud Architect
Position Summary
The mission of the C5ISRT & Cloud Architect is to drive the technical vision and strategic execution for secure, scalable defense architectures. You will ensure that complex technical policies and strategic plans are not only well-defined and fully understood by project teams, but are also seamlessly integrated with overarching business objectives to deliver decisive operational advantages.
You are ready to spearhead the local development and deployment of Thales' Next Generation C2 solutions for multi-domain operations (Land, Sea, Air, Space, and Cyber) across Canada. Acting as the critical bridge between the engineering, business, and customer ecosystems, you will proactively capture complex operational requirements. You will ensure the Canadian technical roadmap meets unique national defense needs while remaining tightly synchronized with the global Thales business line.
You are prepared to take a definitive leadership role in Defense Cloud and C2 innovation. Specifically, you will champion resilient, decentralized architectures designed for dispersed and distributed operational spaces—ensuring data superiority, edge computing capabilities, and uninterrupted command and control even at the tactical edge or in highly contested environments.
Regulatory Compliance Requirement

The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) $125,000– $140,000 -$165,000 CAD Annual.
This reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee’s career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company’s annual salary budget, the customer’s program requirements, and the company’s internal equity. Thales may offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, state, or federal law.
