This may be the perfect opportunity for you as our Conservation and Energy Management department is looking to hire a Program Manager in the Conservation Education & Outreach program area. You will be part of the multi-talented backbone of Conservation and Energy Management that oversees the long-term strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our team. We need you to take a proactive approach in streamlining processes and engaging stakeholders to ensure our programs continue to push the needle on sustainable energy practices.
In this role, you will:- Oversee our strategic direction and vision for community outreach, education programs and initiatives that support external stakeholders, including marketing, contract and legal matters, risk and safety assessments, program development, and customer satisfaction.
- Hire, train and create positive working relationships with our program support team.
- Build collaborative working relationships with the internal teams, such as Climate Action Partners, Community Relations and Major Projects, and key external interest groups, including local governments, Indigenous communities, educational organizations and more.
- Foster collaboration that advances provincial climate and energy goals.
- Build partnerships that strengthen FortisBC's reputation and create lasting community impact.
- Lead and support a passionate team focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for customers and communities.

- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives.
What it takes:- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of five (5) years of recent, related experience with demonstrated success.
- A proven track record of building relationships in complex work environments.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skillset.
- An ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with complex processes.
- A 'get it done right' and 'can do' perspective that fosters strengthened relationships through every engagement.
- Previous experience with delivering and communicating Demand Side Management programs and working in a regulated utility would be an asset.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive, and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
