Full Job Description
What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:
  • Purchasing material to support operations based on standard and nonstandard demand.
  • Resolving errors on purchase orders as required.
  • Investigate and determine root cause nonconformance material.
  • Review and address past due, stock outs and expediting orders in a timely manner.
  • Monitor price increases and communicating changes as necessary to Supply Management.
  • Review safety stock levels and adjust based on historical or forecasted demand.
  • Work closely with the Supply Management in managing all aspects of the global supply management process
  • Work with Materials team on component changes that affect primary location size and PFEP integrity.


You have:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 year's purchasing experience required
  • 2+ years' experience in purchasing
  • Knowledge of MRP and/or related systems
  • Proven ability to communicate written and orally, collaborate and interact professionally with all levels in an organization
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to support problem solving and decision making
  • Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution including the ability to address difference of opinions or facts and use the most appropriate method to reach an effective solution
  • Demonstrated project management skills to develop plans, meet deadlines, coordinate work groups and handle multiple demands.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:
$62,900.00 - $116,900.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
