Full Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:
  • Manage dates on open purchase orders, monitor vendor performance for timely delivery, and drive vendor development activities.
  • Maintain data integrity of key detailed fields and team metrics to ensure accurate purchase order placement.
  • Close partnership with a wide range of internal collaborators, giving you strong exposure to multiple business functions.
  • The opportunity to build and influence procurement processes, not just follow them.
  • Continuous improvement in action, working within current processes while contributing to future-state improvements and system implementations.
  • Iterative change, where you'll gain hands-on experience supporting system and process evolution over time.
  • Strategic ownership of indirect spend categories rather than transactional, signal-based purchasing.


YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management/procurement or related field highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build positive relationships with internal collaborators.
  • Adaptability and comfort in a growing, evolving environment with changing processes and priorities.
  • A continuous improvement mentality, with the ability to assess current processes and contribute to iterative improvements.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to convert business needs into sourcing strategies.
  • Problem-solving skills and a willingness to navigate ambiguity while crafting structure.
  • Experience with or openness to new systems, tools, or process implementations.


Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:
$62,900.00 - $116,900.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
