Qualifications

• Significant reinsurance broking experience
• C-Suite level communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build engaging relationships with technical & non-technical teams
• Experience managing technical projects
• Experience in managing teams of both company employees and 3rd parties
• Deep understanding of reinsurance operations, processes, and data
• Knowledge of IT systems (Infrastructure, Applications, and Data)
• Knowledge of project financials (ROI, CapEx and OpEx)
• Experience or willingness to train, mentor and coordinate virtual teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop specific business-focused strategic plans to guide IT in roadmap creation and long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with IT architecture to align strategic priorities with business value.
• Assist the business segment in assessing the effort, risk, and impact of proposed changes.
• Document and communicate business requirements to IT architects, developers, and testers.
• Plan and manage tasks within the application portfolio, including stakeholder communications.
• Acquire knowledge about all technical and non-technical aspects of assigned projects.
• Work with the systems maintenance team for a smooth project transition.
• Drive issue resolution and deepen business knowledge while exploring technical alternatives.
• Respond swiftly in a rapidly evolving business environment.
• Research and participate in training to maintain up-to-date knowledge on relevant technologies and issues.
• Ensure comprehension of security, privacy, and regulatory requirements impacting the application portfolio.
