Understand & document business requirements and translate them to IT architects, developers, and testers.
Direct, plan and manage tasks related to assigned application portfolio including stakeholder communications.
Learn and understand all technical and non-technical aspects related to assigned projects.
Work with the systems maintenance team to ensure smooth transition when the project development is completed.
Drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge and participate in developing technical alternatives.
Respond quickly in a rapidly changing business environment.
Research and participate in training and stay current on related issues and technologies.
Understand security, privacy and regulatory requirements affecting your application portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Significant reinsurance broking experience
C-Suite level communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to build engaging relationships with technical & non-technical teams.
Experience managing technical projects.
Experience in managing teams of both company employees and 3rd parties.
Deep understanding of reinsurance ops the business, processes, and data
Knowledge of IT Systems (e.g., Infrastructure, Applications and Data)
Knowledge of project financials (ROI, CapEx and OpEx)
Experience of or willingness to train, mentor and coordinate virtual teams.
