What You Will Do:The Business Process Transformation Consultant will support modernization of management services for a Federal agency by identifying services for business process reengineering, implementing operational excellence through assessments and process improvement, and driving data-driven decision making. Activities include:
- Conduct "as-is" and "to-be" business process analysis to document workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimized future-state processes.
- Reengineer and standardize processes to reduce redundancies, improve cycle time, and streamline decision-making.
- Create or enhance dashboards, KPIs, and decision-support reporting for senior leaders.
- Apply data analytics to drive efficiency, cost, and time savings, and improve customer experience through communication, knowledge sharing, training, and process improvements.
- Facilitate leadership and team workshops to assess current state, define future state, and develop goal-based strategic, operational, and tactical plans.
- Conduct program analysis, market research, opinion polling, benchmarking; produce reports, briefings, and actionable recommendations.
What You Will Need:- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- THREE (3) or more years of professional experience in consulting, business analysis, business process mapping, or technology delivery
- Ability to work on client site in Arlington 3-5 times per week
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Experience facilitating or co-facilitating stakeholder meetings and/or workshops, including leading discussion segments and documenting outcomes.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, AI/ML initiatives, or process automation.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience supporting continuous improvement projects
- Experience documenting business processes or requirements and producing client-facing deliverables (summaries, analyses, process documentation, user stories, etc.)
