Full Job Description
Act as the primary interface between customers and ST for operational communication, demand fulfillment, forecast alignment, supply execution, and service performance through best-in-class customer service.
Proactively act as the official and reliable source of information on customer demand and execution constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the order life cycle, including firm orders, nonrecurring engineering (NRE) purchase orders (POs), and samples, as well as contract and pricing setup.
- Maintain and optimize the backlog. Update requests, monitor confirmations and deliveries, and capture customer signals to improve forecast accuracy
- Achieve revenue plans by driving optimal backlog coverage in close partnership with the customer, sales, and champions.
- Translate key supply drivers, including internal and external inventory, goods in transit (GIT), constrained demand, product lead times and delays (PLDs), and demand layering, into a clear and reliable supply commitment to the customer through capacity visibility, quality service setup, and alignment with sourcing agreement obligations.
- Manage buffer stock agreements, including vendor-managed inventory (VMI) contracts and long-term inventory (LTI) agreements.
- Proactively manage shipment risks. Resolve delays, expedite urgent shipments, address customs issues, and manage trade compliance requirements.
- Lead customer communication on operational topics, including lead time, delivery status, and improvements.
- Partner closely with the respective sales team and manage escalations, ensuring timely resolution through prompt communication.
- Collaborate with regional business intelligence and Sales to manage, expand, and maintain centralized regional reporting and monitoring tools.
- Perform data-driven analytics to identify trends, areas of excellence, and areas for improvement to support the management team in decision-making, strategy definition, and execution.
- Monitor forecast process performance and ensure a continuous feedback loop with relevant stakeholders.
- Detect future supply issues and resolve identified issues through daily collaboration with Business Operations team members, division planning directors, and Central Supply Chain.
Profile:
- 10-15 years' of relevant experience.
- Experienced operations leader with deep expertise in sales processes, demand and supply management, and customer service.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices, with the ability to support efficient planning, coordination, and execution across the value chain.
- Collaborative partner with business operations, sales, finance, divisions, and supply chain teams.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required.
The base salary range for this role is between $129,800-$162-300 for Livonia and $158,000-$188,500 for Santa Clara.
