Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to help manage the operational backbone of our Data Strategy team.
This role supports the workflows that keep data access, vendor processes, exchange reporting, and billing running smoothly at scale. You will work across internal teams and external counterparties to keep processes accurate, timely, and well-controlled.
We are especially interested in candidates who have or can develop deep expertise in market data operations, vendor workflows, and regional or venue-specific requirements.
Responsibilities- Own and improve core data operations workflows across contracts, exchange reporting, billing, audits, and vendor coordination
- Manage contract routing, renewals, documentation, and related legal or compliance workflows
- Support exchange reporting, monitor licensing updates, and coordinate audit preparation across global venues
- Review invoices, purchase orders, allocations, and vendor billing with Finance
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, internal requests, and stakeholder updates
- Maintain systems, trackers, and process documentation for recurring workflows
Qualifications - At least 3 years of experience in market data operations, data vendor management, exchange licensing, financial operations, procurement operations, or a related role
- Strong understanding of operational workflows across data vendors, exchanges, contracts, billing, and reporting
- High attention to detail, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive workflows
- Experience collaborating with legal, finance, compliance, engineering, data, and business teams
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, regional licensing requirements, exchange workflows, or vendor ecosystems is a strong plus
The estimated base salary range for this position is 120,000 to 160,000 USD per year (or local equivalent). The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
