Full Job Description
This Business Manager role owns the strategy, development, commercialization, and business performance of an assigned portfolio of products within Mechanical Products. The role identifies market opportunities, translates customer needs into product requirements and business cases, and leads cross-functional teams in moving offerings from concept through launch and sustained commercial execution. This position combines product development leadership with hands-on portfolio and business management. The manager is accountable for product roadmaps, priorities, go-to-market readiness, pricing and profitability, supplier strategies (including relationship and performance management), and cross-functional operational leadership. Success requires a self-directed leader who can work across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality, Legal, suppliers, and customers without direct authority over every contributor.
What You'll Do Day-To-Day
Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle plan for an assigned portfolio of products.
Own portfolio business performance, including revenue, margin, cash-flow inputs, development spending, forecast assumptions, and risks/opportunities.
Establish value propositions, market positioning, pricing strategies, cost targets, and profitability expectations in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and leadership. Support opportunity qualification, proposal strategy, customer presentations, and negotiation for strategic opportunities.
Partner with Sales and Marketing to define target customers, competitive differentiation, messaging, launch plans, sales tools, and product training.
Represent the portfolio in customer meetings, industry forums, internal reviews. Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory, technology, fleet, and competitor developments that may create opportunity or risk.
Lead selected new products and significant product enhancements from opportunity definition through development, qualification, launch, and transition to routine execution.
Identify and develop strategic suppliers and internal Framatome capabilities needed for growth or close portfolio gaps.
Lead the business aspects of partner and supplier agreements, including scope, roles, territory, pricing, delivery model, and commercial terms, in coordination with Legal and Supply Chain.
Regularly assess the portfolio and recommend where to invest, enhance, reposition, partner, or discontinue.

Total Rewards Package
Salary: $99,000-$134,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
