FALCATA has an immediate need for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to work with the Operations, Business Development, and Finance teams to develop reports in Deltek Cognos BI, build interactive Power BI dashboards, and help maintain a data warehouse that supports consistent, trusted reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate would be located in the Huntsville, AL with the ability to work on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Cognos Reports that interface with Deltek Costpoint Modules including Accounting, Contracts, Materials, Time & Expense, and Projects and PowerBI dashboards.
- Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, key performance indicators, and data definitions.
- Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and work with technical and business teams to resolve issues.
- Support data warehouse implementation, including data modeling, source integration, testing, and documentation.
- Help maintain reporting datasets, refresh processes, access controls, and data governance standards.
- Improve the performance, usability, and reliability of reports, dashboards, and warehouse data.
- Train users and provide ongoing support for BI tools and self-service reporting.
Required Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years' experience in business intelligence solutions
- Minimum 3 years' experience developing Cognos reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Ability to gather requirements and explain technical findings to nontechnical audiences
- Analytical and independent problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint Accounting System database schema
- Experience with Power Query, DAX, and Power BI semantic models
- Experience working with production and manufacturing data and KPIs
- Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehousing platforms
- College/University degree in data analytics, data science, or an equivalent field
