The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative with a proven track record of generating pipeline in B2B enterprise software. You know how to find the right buyers, break into target accounts, and create conversations that did not exist before. Nurturing inbound leads is part of the job, but building new pipeline from scratch is what you are known for.

Our focus is the financial services vertical - credit unions, community banks, and regional institutions. You will be engaging buying committees that include compliance, risk, operations, customer experience, digital banking, and technology leaders. This vertical rewards outreach that is informed and relevant.

Leveraging AI and digital tools in a product-led sales engagement model, you will:

  • Proactively source and qualify new enterprise prospects through outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and other channels - combining account research, sequencing, social selling, and creative account-based tactics.
  • Identify business initiatives, regulatory pressures, strategic priorities, and organizational changes that create opportunities for meaningful conversations.
  • Engage leaders across compliance, risk, operations, customer experience, contact centers, digital banking, AI, and technology functions.
  • Build and execute account-based prospecting strategies for priority verticals and target accounts.
  • Partner with marketing to convert inbound interest into qualified opportunities and follow up with leads in a timely, consultative way.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and maintain quality pipeline.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of B2B sales development experience with demonstrated results in outbound prospecting.
  • Measurable track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets.
  • Experience with sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar) and CRM.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage senior executives.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred

  • Experience prospecting into banks, credit unions, fintechs, insurance carriers, or other highly regulated industries, with familiarity with compliance priorities and technology buying patterns.
  • Experience engaging buying committees with multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.
