Business Development Manager, USA/Canada - RemoteAbout the roleWe need someone who already knows the North American security channel to turn that trust into growth in the US and Canada.
You will not start from zero. You will take over a healthy book of existing accounts in the region, grow it, and add new integrators, distributors and end users to it. You will report to our Chief Commercial Officer.
In your first months you will get to know our accounts, our partners and our products. Then you will build the pipeline and the channel that carry the region's revenue, and you will tell us what the market wants next.
If you have spent the last several years selling surveillance, access control or integration services, and the integrators, consultants and distributors you know pick up when you call, keep reading.
What you will do- Take over our existing accounts in the US and Canada, and grow the revenue each of them brings.
- Build and close a pipeline of integrators, distributors and enterprise end users across security, retail, transportation and critical infrastructure.
- Recruit channel partners and equip them to sell CVEDIA when you are not in the room.
- Own the revenue target for the region, and hit it.
- Tell our product and engineering teams what the market is saying, including the parts we do not want to hear.
You may be a good fit if- You live in the US or Canada.
- You have at least three years of experience in physical security, such as video surveillance, access control, perimeter protection or systems integration.
- You have hit B2B revenue targets, and you can show us the deals you closed yourself.
It would be great if you- Have a network in the North American integrator and consultant community.
- Know the video management and camera ecosystems that integrators work with, such as Milestone, Genetec and Axis.
- Can explain video analytics both to a business buyer and to the engineer who has to deploy it.
- Have run long deals with many stakeholders, from the first call to the signed contract.
- Have worked in a company that changed direction when its market did, and helped it adjust.
You do not need to tick every box. If you know the security channel and want to build a region, we would like to hear from you.
Why CVEDIA- You can move. There are no layers of approval and no waiting on headquarters between you and the customer. You see the opportunity, you make the call, and we back you.
- Your voice shapes the product. The people who build our products want to hear what the market tells you, and they act on it.
- A running start. You inherit real accounts and real momentum in the region, not a blank territory.
- Pay that follows results. Your pay grows with the revenue you bring in.
Where and how you work- We are fully remote and have no offices. We meet in person once a year at a company meetup, usually in Europe.
- You need some overlap with European afternoons, which are US mornings, for our team meetings.
- You will travel to about two trade shows a year, and sometimes to meet our larger customers and partners.
- Pay is a base salary plus commission, and depends on your experience. We will discuss it with you in the first conversation.
How to applyPlease submit your resume/CV in English. Tell us about one deal you closed in physical security: who was involved, how long it took, and what nearly stopped it.
The interview process is a few calls with our managers.
CVEDIA welcomes applicants from every background and country. We judge your work, not your title or your path to it.
