Job Title: Business Development Manager - Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Air Force/Space ForceLocation:ADS Headquarters (Virginia Beach, VA) / Remote locations considered RESPONSIBILITIES:- Engaging and establishing long-term sales and service solutions within the FMS Air Force/Space Force program offices
- Analyzing market trends, gather intelligence, new requirements, and program inceptions
- Creating new solutions in response to market changes
- Managing a strong sales pipeline
- Represent ADS with program offices, logistics consolidation points and respective contracting offices across all territories assigned
- Research and develop business within assigned program office and related accounts
- Research and identify opportunities for business development upstream from current active accounts
- Identify program needs and objectives
- Identify initial purchases and priorities, manufacturers, product categories and technologies
- Identify preferred and/or optimal means of procurement
- Understand FMS and office specific processes and mirror them wherever possible
- Understand and articulate how contracts are formatted to FMS processes
- Structure complete solution based on specifics of different FMS case types
- Understand FMS post-order due diligence and be able to articulate it to all levels of customer hierarchy
- Serve as the lead for all large-scale solicitations
- Engage and establish long term sales and service solutions
Market/Industry analysis
- Analyze market trends, new requirements, new program inceptions
- Keep up to date on world events
- Gather intelligence
- Create new solutions in response to market changes
REQUIREMENTS- 5 years minimum of Military/DOD Sales experience
- Specifically within International Commercial sales preferred
- Position requires candidate to have legal access under US laws to export-controlled information
- 5 years of experience with MS Office tools, email, etc.
- Must demonstrate willingness to learn and adopt ADS selling techniques
- Must be capable of cultivating and strengthening existing relationships while still identifying new customers
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred, but prior sales & military experience may be substitute
- Must be friendly and likeable comfortable talking to "anyone"
- Must be competitive and have a winning spirit
- Must be a team player and work well with others
- Must be utterly committed to providing legendary customer service

Salary Range: $72,500 to $145,000The salary range represents the base compensation range for this role. The actual compensation will be determined based on a candidate's education, experience, and skills. In addition to base compensation, full-time employees in this role are eligible for commission, which is uncapped, and based on performance.
