Full Job Description
ZGM has built an AI practice and it's working. Clients are buying AI search readiness audits, AI adoption assessments, training programs, and custom agent builds. The interest is national!
We're hiring someone whose entire job is focused on filling our pipeline.
THE ROLE:
What you'll sell
The products we are promoting will be primarily focused on small to mid-sized websites and apps but may include larger projects like AI adoption frameworks, readiness assessments, executive training programs, AI search strategy, custom agent and automation builds.
The candidate will have complete responsibility for outreach and closing of smaller contracts and will be assisted by senior team managers when needed.
Net-new is the priority. The candidate will not be directly involved in development of leads from the parent company, unless requested, but may play a role in supporting senior team members on major client bids.
Three things we'll hold you to in the first year:
• A developed pipeline. We will have specific revenue targets that will need to be met
• Sales infrastructure. You'll build the outbound machine, the qualification process, and the follow-up discipline that turns interest into meetings.
• Your own credibility. We expect a base level of knowledge around web development and apps enough to talk the talk.
WHO YOU ARE:
• Someone who has built pipeline from zero before and can describe exactly how they did it. Not managed a team that did it. Did it.
• You're comfortable selling something the buyer can't fully understand, which means you're good at diagnosis and don't have to read from a deck. You can hold a conversation with a CMO about where AI fits in their business and know when to stop talking and bring in an expert.
• You're curious enough about the technology that you already spend time with these tools.
• You are ambitious and motivated. This roll can grow as you do, but it requires somebody to come out with both arms swinging.
• You can work independently across time zones without a manager checking in. This is a remote role in a practice that's being built, so there's no playbook waiting for you in a drawer.
** Location Note - Remote will be considered.
