As a Business Development Executive on the Healthcare Services, Emerging Middle Market Banking team, you will be responsible for acquiring profitable relationships, while championing a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset.

The Healthcare Services team is part of J.P. Morgan's Commercial Banking and Specialized Industries group. Reporting to the Industry Executive,you willbe responsible forleading the business development efforts for Emerging Middle Market Healthcare Services in the East region. Your primary role will be to help grow the business through client acquisition. You willbe responsible foridentifyingand qualifying prospects through direct outreach, development of relationships with centers of influence and external industry events and introducing our banking team, creditstaffand other product partners asappropriate. This role is an opportunity toshowcaseyour experience in business development, your ability to work independently, and your excellent partnership and marketing skills.

In this role you will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships with the world27s most innovative companies. We work both independently and as part of a dynamic team to deliver the entire firm to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Banking, Credit, Treasury and Service partners, as well as Asset Management and Investment Bank colleagues, to introduce our prospects to our product capabilities
  • Propel top line revenues while maximizing efficiency for the business, with a keen eye towards risk mitigation and compliance
  • Serve as mentor and coach to the banking teamand lead prospecting activities. This may include cross-selling of existing clients when appropriate
  • Measure success by your effectiveness in many marketing areas, including but not limitedto:calling activity, proposal generation, revenue generation, risk mitigation, ability to build successful relationships with centers of influence, and propensity to help build the franchise for the long term

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 10 years of direct client management, lending, credit support, or similar industry related experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products and services
  • Experience in cross-selling products, anda track recordof meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong business development skills; including tactical selling and negotiation
  • Ability to partner well, i.e., develop andmaintainpositive and productive internal relationships with product partners, credit executives, senior management, client service, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - including proposal writing and public speaking

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelorsdegree preferred
  • Formal bank credit training is preferred
  • Strong creative solution andproblem solvingskills
