The Air and Commercial Solutions (ACS) Training Systems Integration Senior Manager is a pivotal role within Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) Line of Business.

This position is responsible for formulating and executing the business strategy for the ACS market segment. This role will lead a team in identifying growth opportunities, managing the opportunity pipeline, and fostering customer engagement to drive business expansion domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the ACS market segment in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, foster talent development, and drive high performance.
  • Opportunity Management: Oversee the management of domestic and international opportunity pipeline, ensuring timely and effective capture of new business opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and execute customer engagement plans to build strong relationships, understand customer needs, and position ACS solutions effectively.
  • New Business Capture: Lead the new business capture process, from opportunity identification to proposal submission, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and organizational capabilities.
  • Decision Making: Participate in New Business Fund (NBF) decision-making processes, providing strategic insights and recommendations based on market analysis and opportunity assessment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary internal and external contact for ACS, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to optimize solutions and drive business success.


Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development, capture management, and/or program management.
  • Extensive understanding of Lockheed Martin win plan, capture process, and business development practices. Experience leading competitive pursuits.
  • Experience supporting customer contact tracking, decision mapping, competitive intelligence and customer assessments.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing and presenting data to senior/executive management and advanced communications skills.
  • Experience in leveraging stakeholder functional organizations: Program Management, Engineering, Sustainment Operations, Contracts, Business Ventures/Offset, ITC and Legal.
  • Proven and current knowledge of DoD procurement environment and acquisition processes.
  • Experience with New Opportunity identification and pipeline management.
  • Experience making priority funding decisions, managing and executing budgets.

  • Possess core knowledge of the ACS Portfolio
  • US and International Military flying related training
  • Possess solid understanding of the Department of Defense budgeting and acquisition processes and ability to relate them to the Foreign Military Sales program
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret customers' needs and requirements and relate them back to programmatic processes
  • Strong financial planning skills
  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Demonstrated customer relations skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $158700.00 - $294700.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible work arrangements and schedules (e.g., 4x10), 401(k) match, Paid time off, Holidays, Parental Leave, EAP, Flexible Spending Accounts, Education Assistance, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability.
  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
