Business Cutover & Change Readiness Analyst - Supply Chain Systems
Overview / Summary
We are seeking a Business Cutover & Change Readiness Analyst to support a global supply chain systems program focused on standardizing procurement processes using SAP and Ariba. This is a business-focused role responsible for helping supply chain teams and suppliers understand and prepare for system changes, cutover activities, communications, training, and launch readiness.
The ideal candidate will have supply chain experience with hands-on buying experience and the ability to translate technical or system changes into practical impacts for business users.
Key Responsibilities
Work with IT, Finance, MP&L, and program teams to understand cutover activities, timelines, dependencies, and system freeze periods.
Help develop and maintain the business cutover plan, including tasks, owners, checkpoints, and contingency steps for buyers and supplier-facing teams.
Participate in mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, and go-live activities, and track issues through resolution.
Identify risks and business impacts and escalate them with clear recommendations.
Assess how releases and cutovers affect buyers, supply chain teams, and suppliers using knowledge of buying workflows.
Work with cross-functional teams to map process, role, and system changes to affected users.
Participate in Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and related launch activities, gather user feedback, and share findings with the program team.
Support readiness assessments, go/no-go criteria, and recommendations.
Create supply chain communications for cutover and launch events, including advisories, service interruption notices, FAQs, and what-to-expect guides.
Plan communications by audience and timing for buyers, leaders, and suppliers across regions.
Support training by helping develop job aids, quick-reference guides, and training sessions aligned with the cutover timeline.
Support hypercare by tracking questions and issues and turning trends into guidance and quick fixes.
Build presentations and status updates for leadership covering readiness, risks, adoption, and cutover progress.
Develop readiness scorecards and metrics covering training, communications, and user confidence.
Represent the business in governance, readiness reviews, and cross-functional forums.
Support additional launch and change priorities as the program evolves.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
Three or more years of experience in supply chain, including hands-on experience as a buyer in production, program, commodity, or indirect purchasing.
Solid understanding of the purchasing process.
Experience in ERP or system implementation, change management, cutover, or business readiness, or a strong interest in these areas.
Ability to understand technical or system changes and explain their impact to business users.
Strong written communication skills and experience creating communications, training materials, and leadership presentations.
Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced launch environment.
Ability to work with global, cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Learning & Development.
Knowledge of AI and automation and how they can improve business processes and communications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP, Ariba, or other enterprise procurement systems.
Experience in UAT, CRPs, mock cutovers, hypercare, or go/no-go readiness.
Experience with readiness assessments, adoption metrics, or Power BI.
Prosci, CCMP, Agile, SAFe, or similar certification.
Experience with supplier communications or supplier enablement.
