8+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in a service environment.
Proficiency in SAP, Siebel, or large ERP systems is strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required; CPA designation is a plus.

Title : Business Controller - Crane Service
Location : Burlington, Ontario, L7L6A4
POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Controller- Crane Service is responsible for the accounting and financial functions of an assigned area. Supervises and mentors more junior members of the accounting team, contributing to overall success of dept objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of all financial statements, reports and audits utilized to provide Management with information relative to the financial transactions, operational cost, inventories, sales, orders, taxes, depreciation, property, and other asset values, etc.
Preparation of consolidated operating statements, analyze and evaluate the financial status of the company. Prepare statements of recommendations relative to future financial plans, objectives, policies, and goals.
Evaluate and implement such approved programs deemed adequate to achieve cost reduction, improve controls, work simplification and best equipment utilization.
Advise management on business and economic implications of the financial data presented and on special problems as to procedures, projects, employee relations, salaries, or other matters.
Preparation of operating budgets and controls, implement and administer approved programs.
Working Capital management, supporting in customer collections efforts
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Eight (8) or more years progressive experience in preparatory accounting, financial analysis, and/or Controller positions in a Service environment are required.
SAP, Siebel or large ERP system strongly preferred.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires a degree in Accounting/Business Administration. CPA designation an asset.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Expected Travel 5%-10%
