Summary
From loan officer to business owner. Build something that outlasts your next closing.
The next level isn't closing more loans. It's building more funnels.
We are looking for a seasoned, high-producing Mortgage Loan Officer seeking more than just a typical desk job and compensation plan. This is a unique partnership opportunity for an MLO ready to deliver exceptional production results, expand and lead a thriving branch, and become the preferred lending partner for a top-performing real estate sales team with steady buyer and seller activity.
This position is perfect for an MLO who envisions the future of lending as relationship-focused, integrated, and referral-based, rather than purely transactional.
You will collaborate closely with a well-established PLACE-powered real estate team that consistently generates inbound buyer and seller leads, prioritizes speed, transparency, and an outstanding client experience, and seeks a long-term mortgage partner instead of a revolving door of lenders.
You won't be just "one among many." You will be the lender.
Responsibilities
Originate and close residential mortgage loans with excellence and speed
Serve as the primary mortgage partner for our real estate sales team's leads
Collaborate closely with agents to convert, pre-approve, and close buyers
Build, grow, and eventually lead a branch or production pod
Maintain strong referral relationships with agents, builders, and partners
Deliver a best-in-class borrower experience from pre-approval to closing
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer (required)
Verifiable closed loan volume (recent production history required)
Active or eligible NMLS license
Strong understanding of purchase transactions (not just refi)
Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build something meaningful
High integrity, strong communication skills, and team-first mentality
This is not a training role. This is a growth and leadership role.
