Job Title: Business Applications Manager
Location: Remote
Reports To: Lacey Larsen, Director or Business Applications

Salary Range: $100-110K

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Business Applications Manager to support and enhance the use of Yardi across our senior housing platform. This role blends software application support, user training, troubleshooting, process improvement, to ensure teams have the tools, knowledge, and support they need to work effectively.

The ideal candidate enjoys problem solving, translating technical concepts into practical guidance, and helping users build confidence with systems and processes. This role will support end users with troubleshooting and issue resolution, develop and deliver training programs, monitor user competency, and assist with ad hoc projects that support ongoing organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide day-to-day support for end users utilizing property management software, including assisting with questions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving user and system errors.
  • Diagnose and resolve application issues efficiently, escalating more complex problems to appropriate supervisors.
  • Assist with system administration functions, user access, configuration support, and maintenance activities.
  • Support data integrity and encourage best practices for system usage across departments.


Training & User Development
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for new and existing users.
  • Create and maintain a variety of training materials, including:
    • Process documentation and user guides
    • Live webinars and instructor-led training sessions
    • How-to videos and screen-recorded tutorials
    • Quick reference guides and job aids
  • Monitor user competency and identify opportunities for refresher training or process improvement.
  • Promote user adoption through clear communication, coaching, and ongoing support.


Projects & Process Improvement
  • Support miscellaneous projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Participate in software enhancements, upgrades, testing, implementations, and process improvement efforts.
  • Document workflows, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in gathering business requirements and supporting operational initiatives.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Training/Education, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management software is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with software in senior housing, healthcare, or other property management platform preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in business application support, system administration, help desk support, or related systems support roles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Experience developing and delivering end-user training using multiple learning formats.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including intermediate functions such as:
    • Lookup formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP or similar)
    • Conditional formatting
    • Basic data analysis and reporting tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe tools for documentation creation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
