With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Business Applications Developer to join our team remotely! This is a full-time exempt position.
Responsibilities:- Build and maintain solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform - canvas and model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Dataverse data models, connectors and lightweight integrations.
- Configure and extend Dynamics 365 (forms, views, business rules, security roles and light customization), and package and deploy solutions through Azure DevOps.
- Lead discovery with business stakeholders, document their processes, and write requirements and acceptance criteria clear enough to build and test against.
- Plan and run testing, coordinate user acceptance testing, and validate fixes so every solution works before it reaches users.
- Drive adoption after go-live through user training and end-user guidance, and provide production support - triage, root-cause investigation and fixes - for live solutions.
- Keep Azure DevOps work items and solution documentation accurate, so status and remaining scope are always clear.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years building production solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, with real depth in canvas and model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Hands-on Dynamics 365 configuration experience, including forms, views, business rules and security roles.
- Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders and turning them into documented requirements, acceptance criteria and test plans.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for solution packaging, deployment across environments and work item management.
Preferred:- JavaScript and plug-in development.
- Power BI.
- Exposure to formal QA practices.
- Experience in a regulated or quality-controlled environment.
Skills/Abilities:- Enjoys both building and working with stakeholders, and keeps a healthy balance between the two.
- Turns ambiguous or undocumented business processes into clear requirements and working solutions.
- Strong attention to detail in testing - verifies that a solution works rather than assuming it does.
- Communicates clearly with non-technical stakeholders, including during training, adoption and change.
- Works independently against agreed acceptance criteria and raises scope changes for a decision rather than absorbing them.
- Collaborates well with senior developers and delivery leads, and seeks design review on complex work.
