Job Purpose
As a Business Analyst, you will need to be able to work closely with both internal and external customers to help WellDoc fulfill its mission of designing and delivering best in class mobile and digital health products.
Responsibilities
- Partner with subject matter experts to elicit, evaluate and document business and clinical requirements
- Responsible for the research, analysis, documentation and validation of functional requirements
- Lead formalized joint application development (JAD) sessions with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with UI/UX team to define the user experience and create wireframes and prototypes for mobile and web applications.
- Participate in Agile development activities to ensure quality, clarity, and transparency throughout delivery
- Contribute to iteration planning meetings to determine release and sprint capacity, estimation, and velocity
- Write epics and user stories to detail software design for onshore and offshore development teams, using multiple tools and artifacts as needed
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and diagrams to visually illustrate user needs
- Lead user acceptance testing activities
Required Skills & Experience
- at least 3 years of analyst experience for a company with a health care focus.
- Healthcare domain knowledge a plus (note: health care not health insurance)
- Experience working with off shore teams
- Understands the basics of software development lifecycle methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Acrobat
- Requirement elicitation and analysis skills
- Experience in creating wireframes and prototypes
- Detail oriented and organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Understands web and mobile software development tools and methodologies
WellDoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Compensation & Benefits
Welldoc offers a competitive compensation package which, in addition to salary, includes generous PTO, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision care, life and disability insurance, retirement benefits .and the opportunity to participate in health savings accounts and/or dependent care accounts. While the anticipated salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $120,000/year with the expectation that most candidates will fall around the midpoint of the range. Exceptional candidates may exceed the range if education and experience warrant.
Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, you may be required to complete and clear a multi-panel drug screening process. This screening is in connection with requirements set by certain of the Company's customers, with which you may be working in this role, and will at all times be administered all applicable laws.
