Full Job Description
This is a hybrid position based in Dallas, TX. Candidates based in the Phoenix area will also be considered.

How you will contribute

As a Business Analyst supporting Treasury at Asure, you will serve as a key link between Treasury Product Management, Customers, and Development. You will analyze financial reports, market research, and operating procedures for Treasury solutions - including cash management, payments, banking connectivity, reconciliation, and forecasting - strategize ideas to improve business operations and meet with company executives and other stakeholders to provide recommendations based on your analysis.

  • Identify specific business opportunities within the Treasury product line
  • Assist with project management for selected Treasury projects
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Support, and Implementation) to produce better business outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements (BRDs, FRDs, and use cases) for Treasury features such as cash forecasting, bank reconciliation, and payment processing
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to elicit requirements from Treasury customers and internal stakeholders
  • Analyze and prioritize requirements based on business value, feasibility, and alignment with strategic goals
  • Write clear and well-structured business requirements documents
  • Translate business and functional requirements into epics and user stories for agile delivery teams
  • Work with the development team to design solutions that meet Treasury business requirements, including prototypes and mock-ups to validate solutions with stakeholders
  • Identify automation opportunities within Treasury workflows
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to understand business performance
  • Analyze process issues and bottlenecks and recommend improvements
  • Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders; facilitate meetings and resolve conflicts between stakeholders and the development team
  • Collaborate with the product manager on Treasury roadmap planning and prioritization
  • Support the testing phase by developing test plans and test cases and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Track project progress, manage changes to requirements, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new Treasury features and functionality
  • Conduct market research and analysis on treasury and banking industry trends and competitor products to inform roadmap strategy


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Previous experience in the treasury management, banking, payments, or fintech software industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of treasury and cash management concepts (e.g., cash forecasting, liquidity management, bank reconciliation, payment processing, ACH/wire transfers) preferred
  • Familiarity with a treasury management system (TMS) such as Kyriba, GTreasury, or similar a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field and/or position
  • Advanced skills in Excel, data mining/manipulation, and report creation
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Ability to multi-task, support multiple customers/assignments, and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong commitment to data integrity and internal customer service
  • Able to work timely and embrace agility and change
  • Experience with project tracking software such as Atlassian Confluence or Jira


Compensation

The salary range for this position is $95,000-$115,000, based on relevant experience, skills, and industry knowledge. The compensation package includes an uncapped commission structure.
