Salary rangeThe salary range for this position is CAD $38.88 - $55.89 / hour

- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders for identifying reporting needs, analyzing current procedures, identifying opportunities, reducing redundancies and ensuring reporting processes support business objectives.

- Prepare strategic business cases and supporting documents, briefing papers, strategic and tactical reports for an assigned area and/or portfolio for submission to Fraser Health Executive, Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with members of the department, senior management, staff of various organizational units and other internal and external stakeholders in support of the mission, philosophies and goals of Fraser Health.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or related applied quantitative scientific field.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience in decision support, business analysis, performance reporting, and/or health care management.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience with T-SQL and PowerBI is preferred.

Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:The Business Analyst provides leadership and support by applying expert knowledge in business intelligence, data analysis, data mining, and performance reporting to provide evidence-based review of service utilization, health interventions, technology assessments and performance analysis. The Business Analyst plans and develops reporting requirements by engaging with healthcare stakeholders across the organization, reviewing clinical, financial, human resource and operational data and by applying knowledge in performance measurement and benchmarking methodologies to develop BI analytical reports.

Qualifications
Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or related applied quantitative scientific field, plus five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience in decision support, business analysis, performance reporting, and/or health care management, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience with T-SQL and PowerBI is preferred.COMPETENCIES:
