The Business Analyst partners with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and manage requirements that support strategic objectives, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. This role analyzes processes, workflows, and data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities, evaluates solution options, and serves as a key communication liaison across teams. The Business Analyst coordinates User Acceptance Testing, manages scope and change, and helps ensure delivered solutions align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
How You Will Contribute:
Lead and facilitate requirementsgathering sessions with business stakeholders using appropriate elicitation techniques across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Analyze, document, and manage business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity, traceability, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives.
Translate business requirements into system, technical, and process workflows and diagrams, including currentstate and futurestate models.
Provide analytical and technical guidance to business stakeholders to support informed decisionmaking.
Employ Agile delivery practices by working with epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.
Support solution design and system integration efforts by aligning requirements to system capabilities and existing business operations.
Serve as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure shared understanding and timely communication.
Establish relationships and work with business stakeholders to prioritize requirements and ensure that expectations and needs are fulfilled.
Review and validate requirements and user stories to ensure readiness for development and User Acceptance Testing.
Assist with business change management by supporting adoption, communication, and transition to new processes or systems.
Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs to assess solution effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field
3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a similar position
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Preferred)
Experience working with project tracking tools, such as Azure DevOps.
Experience with requirements gathering techniques (e.g., interviews, questionnaires, user observation, etc.)
Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively on teams.
Proven experience working with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office and business applications.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate both horizontally and vertically across the organization.
Experience using data visualization and process mapping tools, such as Microsoft Visio.
Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with technology-related issues and complex business scenarios
Business Analyst certification (Preferred)
