Business Analyst is responsible for supporting inventory management activities required at the Lynchburg Distribution Center and Kenco Logistics Third Party Distribution Center. This role provides support for inventory related issues across distribution systems including PeopleSoft, Blue Yonder, DiQ, and ERP LX, including receipts, advanced shipping notices, order processing, inventory transactions and inventory variances and system reconciliation.
This individual will serve as a key partner to the Inventory team, responding to and supporting inventory-related inquiries from internal stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Reviews customer orders to identify issues and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Provides monthly order status and issues summary reports to the Inventory Supervisor and Site Lead.
- Coordinates with Infosys and site IT teams to support and resolve Blue Yonder order-related issues.
- Partners with Operations to determine the physical status of orders during troubleshooting activities.
- Generates and distributes open order reports for designated customers.
- Provides monthly aging SKU reports to ROC Planning.
- Collaborate with manufacturing sites to obtain updates on aging backorders and monitors recurring Blue Yonder backorders to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for internal departments.
- Utilizes SQL to query ERP systems for data analysis, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Works with external IT support teams to troubleshoot system issues and submits service tickets when required.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain or Logistics preferred)
- Data entry and inventory control functions with use of warehouse management systems such as Blue Yonder are required.
- Data management experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP is required.
- Excel (advanced) experience is required.
- SQL and Power BI experience is a plus.
- Excellent, professional communications skills to build and maintain positive working partnerships.
For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $64,800 and $97,200 . The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.
