What You Will DoWe are looking for a dynamic and results-driven
Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This role will focus on expanding our presence in the state, local, and education (SLED) markets. The BDR will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.
How You Will Spend Your Days- Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients within the SLED markets. Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations. Understand their needs and pain points to effectively position Alchemer's solutions.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Track and report on sales activities and outcomes using CRM software.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Alchemer's products and services. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive offerings to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience. Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to inform product development.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Continuously improve sales techniques and processes to drive better results.
What You Bring to this Role- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the SLED markets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation for this position includes an annual base salary of $70,000, annual commission potential of up to $30,000, and eligibility to participate in our Employee Participation Unit program.
