Budget Analyst - NA-19 Front OfficePay range: $120 - $135,000 annually
Job Summary:TechSource is hiring a full-time Budget Analyst to support the Office of Production Modernization Materials Management Programs (NA-19) and its nuclear deterrence mission with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). You will use and develop your planning, budgeting, and evaluation skills on a diverse portfolio. Working with a motivated, knowledgeable, and collaborative team, you will interface with the national security laboratories and production facilities who are engaged in managing technical work to modernize our nation's nuclear weapon stockpile.
You will work onsite daily at the DOE Headquarters Forrestal Building, located in Washington, DC. After training, employees can anticipate working a hybrid schedule up to 2 days telework per week after training is complete and as the workload allows.
Responsibilities- Provide the federal program team with clear, concise, accurate, and timely budget analyses and information to support programmatic decision-making.
- Execute monthly and routine budget processes for the program.
- Monitor and report to federal staff the progress of programmatic plans and advise on program deliverables.
- Complete annual, quarterly, and other periodic reporting requirements at program reviews and meetings.
- Draft and edit materials including fact sheets, budget worksheets, reports, and briefings.
Qualifications and Experience:- Active Q or Top Secret clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e. financial management, business, government relations).
- 5 or more years of federal government budget analysis experience.
- Experience working with multi-year budgets.
- Financial knowledge and analytical skills to make informed strategic decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extensive use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and dashboards/business intelligence reports.
Compensation & Benefits: The expected base salary range for this role is $120 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
