Full Job Description
Briefing / Research and Writing Attorney

Hilliard Law, a national trial firm focused on personal injury and civil justice cases, is seeking a full-time research and writing attorney with three plus years of experience in civil litigation.

We are looking for someone to fill a position that primarily involves legal research, writing, and litigation support. Judicial clerkship experience in appellate or federal court is strongly preferred.

All applications must be accompanied by a resume and writing sample (10 pages maximum). Preferred writing sample is a motion or a motion response that has been filed with a court.

Requirements:
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Experience drafting and arguing contested legal motions.
  • Interest and willingness to focus on research of complicated legal issues.
  • Law Review experience is preferred.
  • Mock trial or Moot Court experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Must be licensed to practice in Texas.
