  • Assist in proposal and funding application preparations

Full Job Description
We are looking for a talented Structural Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our Structural Engineering team in Northern Indiana. The ideal candidate will have experience working on local agency and/or DOT bridge design projects, along with a strong technical background in structural engineering. Experience managing projects and tasks is preferred, although candidates interested in developing their project management capabilities while continuing to grow their technical expertise are also encouraged to apply. In this position, the candidate will:

  • Perform as a project engineer and/or project manager on a variety of DOT and local agency projects related to bridge design.
  • Apply advanced, specialized knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of bridge design.
  • Work on a major project or several major projects of moderate scope with complex features.
  • Leading the preparation of complete design and construction documents for bridge projects.
  • Plan and coordinate aspects of the engineering work.
  • Provide bridge inspection services.
  • Assist management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
  • Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
  • Assist with preparation of proposals and funding applications.
  • As opportunities present themselves, this role may also be involved in other various responsibilities and projects.
