Position Description: We are seeking a talented Brand Identity Designer to help shape, expand, and maintain the brand's visual identity across a variety of channels and touchpoints.
Working closely with the Senior Design Lead, this role will contribute to the development of visual identity systems, create compelling brand assets, and establish clear, strategic design guidelines that can be applied consistently across teams, channels, and markets.
The ideal candidate understands that brand identity extends beyond individual deliverables. They think in systems and recognize how typography, color, composition, imagery, and other visual elements work together to create a cohesive brand experience across both print and digital applications.
Agency experience, either in house or external, is preferred but not required. Experience supporting a large scale brand or developing visual identity systems is also a plus. All candidates must provide a portfolio showcasing strong brand identity work, typography, and overall design quality.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $176,300.00.

Your future duties and responsibilities:• Collaborate with the Senior Design Lead to develop, refine, and expand visual identity systems.
• Design digital and print assets that reflect and reinforce the established brand identity.
• Support the development and ongoing maintenance of brand guidelines, standards, and design practices.
• Create flexible design systems that can be applied across multiple channels, teams, markets, and international audiences.
• Apply systems based thinking to design projects and help internal partners understand the purpose and application of visual identity systems.
• Manage multiple projects at varying stages while maintaining attention to detail, timelines, and clear communication.
• Partner with cross functional teams on brand, organizational, and design related initiatives.
• Advise internal teams, agencies, suppliers, and creative partners on the appropriate use of brand elements.
• Provide thoughtful creative direction and feedback to support quality and consistency across brand touchpoints.
• Prepare and package final assets for digital, print, and production requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• 3+ years of professional design experience in a creative or agency environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing or contributing to visual identity systems.
• Portfolio required, showcasing brand identity, typography, strong design execution, and attention to detail.
• Strong experience creating print, digital, and production ready designs.
• Advanced understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, color, imagery, and other foundational design principles.
• Ability to think beyond individual deliverables and develop scalable, cohesive visual systems.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfortable collaborating with designers, marketers, business stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, and other partners.
• Receptive to creative feedback and able to incorporate input while maintaining high design standards.
