ABOUT THE ROLEAs a member of the Design team at Aaru, you'll help users make decisions faster. The Design team owns every surface a customer, prospect, or candidate touches. You'll work with the Head of Marketing and Head of Design to build the brand that carries Aaru into the market and bring it to life across the product, the web, and everywhere Aaru shows up.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and ship brand work daily across web, social, decks, and print
- Build a brand system that scales to every new surface without going stale
- Lead launches and campaigns end to end with the Head of Marketing
- Partner with Product Designers and Design Engineers to carry the brand into the product
- Enable anyone at Aaru to produce on-brand work without design in the loop
- Help select and manage external agencies when the work calls for them

STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO- Have owned a brand redesign or rebrand, including agency selection and management
- Have built or relaunched a brand at a fast-growing technology company
- Have motion design sensibility
- Have brought a brand system into a working product experience
LOCATIONThis role is based in New York City. Aaru is an in-person company, working 5 days a week in office. Candidates are expected to be located within the New York City metropolitan area or open to relocation.
