Branch Real Estate Transaction Strategist serves as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert responsible for managing and advancing complex real estate transactions across a designated portfolio. This role leads the execution of leasing and transaction management activities, including new locations, lease renewals, relocations, acquisitions, dispositions, and special projects that support the firm's growth strategy. Working closely with business leaders, field leadership, brokers, legal counsel, and various internal partners, the Transaction Strategist provides expert guidance on real estate decisions, negotiates complex transactions, and ensures projects align with business objectives, financial goals, and industry best practices. This role plays a key part in shaping the firm's real estate footprint while influencing strategic initiatives across one of the nation's largest branch networks.
What You'll Do- Lead and manage complex real estate transactions across an assigned portfolio.
- Negotiate leases, renewals, relocations, acquisitions, and other strategic real estate agreements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on leasing strategy and transaction management matters.
- Partner with field leaders and business stakeholders to support growth and operational objectives.
- Conduct market assessments, site selection, and financial analysis to inform real estate decisions.
- Collaborate with legal, construction, design, and external partners to execute real estate initiatives.
- Provide subject matter expertise on industry trends, best practices, and portfolio strategy.
- Drive real estate solutions that balance business needs, risk management, and financial performance.
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.Position RequirementsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of commercial real estate leasing, transaction management, portfolio management, or related experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in lease negotiations, site selection, market analysis, and complex real estate transactions.
- Strong understanding of real estate financial analysis, contract negotiation, and portfolio strategy.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives across large, complex organizations.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications- MBA, JD, or other advanced degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CCIM, SIOR, CPM, or similar real estate credentials.
- Experience supporting large-scale corporate real estate portfolios and multi-market transaction strategies.
